PURPOSE
The Animal Adoption League (AAL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit group organized in 1992 by a group of caring individuals. The mission of the Animal Adoption League (AAL) is to provide veterinary care and temporary-to-permanent housing for homeless and rescued animals; to provide the best adoptive situation and outlet for the permanent placement of these animals; to educate the general public in the importance of reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs along with the care and overall welfare of animals; and to work towards the ultimate goal of compassionate, humane treatment for all.

To provide veterinary care and temporary housing for dogs and cats as an alternative to the shelter

To cooperate with law enforcement agencies as their activities relate to animals

ONLINE AUCTIONS
Animal Adoption League regularly hosts online auctions on Facebook to raise funds for the cats and dogs in our foster care. Proceeds go directly toward providing critical medical treatment and supplies for animals in need. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that’s entirely volunteer-run, we’re proud to serve the greater Charlotte area with compassion and dedication. Follow us on Facbook for more info and current updates.
ADOPTABLE CATS & DOGS
Animal Adoption League always has cats and dogs looking for loving homes. Every animal in our care lives in a foster home, where they are fully socialized and given the individual attention they need to thrive. All pets available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ready to join your family. Please consider opening your heart and home to one of our furry friends—you just might find your perfect match.
FOSTERS NEEDED
The Animal Adoption League is always looking for compassionate, experienced volunteers to help foster animals, especially cats and kittens. Fostering provides a safe, nurturing environment where animals can heal, grow, and prepare for their forever homes.
